1964 Chevrolet

1964 was the last year for this platform for Chevrolet. The Impala SS was now its own model, available as a Sport Coupe and Convertible only, featuring special trim and interior features. The 409 was still available for the last full year. 1965 would see the last of the 409 in early production vehicles. The 64 Impala has been a favorite of the lowrider and customizing crowd for decades, as a result there are more reproduction parts available for the 1964 model year than any other.
